#MyTravelingStory: EXPERIENCE GANGNEUNG! (2018 WOWKOREA SUPPORTERS 1ST FIELD TRIP PART 2)

Continuing my first post about 2018 WOWKOREA Supporter trip to Gangwon-do, here I am writing a new one! This time, still in Gangwon-do, we went to a city near Yangyang, a city called Gangneung! if you are K-Drama lovers, you might be used to hear this, because there are a lots of K-Dramas that filmed their scenes in Gangneung. Should I mention an example? Okay, last year best drama, Goblin! Remember the scene when Ji Eun Tak called Goblin ahjussi for the first time? Yeah it was in Jimunjin beach, Gangneung. But this time, we did not go there, as for our mission to promote another beautiful places in South Korea, we went somewhere else! I personally thing this place is two times more beautiful from the one we visited at our first day. What was that?

Okay! It was Jeongdongjin beach (정동진해변)! Near Jeongdongjin railway station, its scenery is really beautiful! Imagine sitting in a train, while looking at the sea all the way! This beach is popular with its sunrise. Many Korean visit this beach at 31st December to watch the last sunset and 1st January to watch sunrise every year. I want to experience that too, too bad I know it late, I went to Seoul for fireworks instead haha. I will put this place to my to-go list so I will visit it later! Because that day, we went there not to see sunrise, but to experience something else! What? Let me make another list!

1. Jeongdongjin Rail Bike (정동진 레일바이크)

Entrance Fee: 20,000 won (for two people), 30,000 won (for four people)

Believe me or not, this place was filming site of senior actress, Go Hyun Jung's hit drama, The Sandglass. That drama was from 1995, with the peak viewership ratings reached 64.7%! OMG, that was awesome! It is surely impossible to get nowadays. I like her as an actress, but I haven't watched that one, I was not even 1 year old that time, haha kidding. I will watch it soon! Emphasize: to prove that this place was there!

We had a lot of fun riding rail bike, while seeing sea and feeling the blowing wind! It is fun activity to do as a couple or family, make sure you go here when you visit South Korea! You really cannot miss this place! 

2. Hassla Art World (하슬라아트월드)

Entrance Fee: Individual 10,000 won, group 9,000 won (for park & museum)

I am from Malang, Indonesia and this kind of museum is a lot there! But still, I am always amazed to go to new one! This one is Pinocchio museum! Go inside this museum and feel a major throwback to your childhood time! There are a lots of dolls, not only Pinocchio itself, and also many unique statues! Taking picture is also okay, so I did take few ~

3. Coffee Cupper Museum (커피-커퍼)

Entrance Fee: adult 5,000 won, child 4,000 won
Experience real coffee making for 10,000 won (min. 2 people)

If you are a fan of coffee, promise yourself you will visit this place! If you do not, you will regret! We experience making Colombia coffee there! It was really fun~

Another day just passed in a blink~ We almost finished our second day trip in Gangneung! Oops, I forgot to write this one, our lunch and dinner! I do not why I feel I really need to upload this delicious food's picture here ~ Hehe forgive me for making you hungry (if you are!)

With another full stomach and lots of joy, we finished our second day trip too! Finally, next day was our last day. So sad it ended so fast, really need more! We moved to Gyeonggido for our third day! In my next post, guys! :)
