#MyTravelingStory: EXPERIENCE CHUNCHEON & GAPYEONG! (2018 WOWKOREA SUPPORTERS 1ST FIELD TRIP PART 3)

Hello blogger!

Ah, it's finally my last post about my first field trip with 2018 WOWKOREA Supporter! I am already looking forward for my next field trip and for writing more here! Okay, so if you have not read my first and second post, go read those first! Go, go! If you have, let's move to the next destination!

We woke up that morning with joys and sad feeling, happy that we will visit more places but in the same time, a little bit sad it's gonna be over soon! (I really did not want to go back to school life at Monday actually, lol). First destination that day was going to Chuncheon! Another city in Gangwon-do, will be our last city in this province. Chuncheon at the same time, is Gangwon-do's capital city. It is indeed bigger and more crowded than other cities! I cannot make another list in Chuncheon's destination, because I only have one, haha. So here we are, to the most challenging experience we had these past three days, experiencing to ride a canoe in Chuncheon's Mulle-gil!

source: Korea Tourism Organization
"The Chuncheon Mulle-gil is a great place to enjoy water sports like canoeing and yachting on a beautiful lake and river. This eco-tourism destination offers visitors a chance to surround themselves in an enchanting natural atmosphere and an opportunity to journey into nature through a refreshing outdoor activity." - Imagine your Korea.

Official Website: http://www.mullegil.org/eng/index.php
Location: 113-1, Sports town-gil, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do
Entrance Fee: 30,000 won each canoe (2-3 people)

I never imagined that I would ride a canoe, by myself (with Afifa actually, but it's not helping haha), when I know I cannot swim, when I ever drowned in the sea, when I am afraid of waves (I mentioned I love beaches, but not their waves, I know it's a lake, or maybe river? I am not sure, but it has waves!!). And yes, I did ride that. There is a funny story in our canoe adventure but I will write that in other post! Haha. Let me just post some pictures for a proof that I survived being on a canoe!

I survived, right? Obviously not gonna show you guys what happened before that, haha! If you like this kind of activities, I recommend you to go there! It's really challenging, yet... ahahah, no no, it was really awesome! Not only I found myself still alive after that ride, I also found some of my favorite actors pictures there! It turned out that this place is popular with variety show's filming place too! I found Gong Yoo ahjussi and Kim Woo Bin!

After using all my strength and energies to row my canoe back to land, I was really hungry and that time, WOWKOREA Supporter manager-nim, suddenly said "let's eat, dakgalbi". My half strength came back as I hear that! We moved to dakgalbi restaurant, which is really popular and special in Chuncheon. Make sure you visit this place guys! It was so yummeeehh, not only yummy, note it! Sorry to make you hungry by looking at this, but I need to post ~

Lunch was over and we moved to our last destination for our first field trip. OMG TIME FLIES SO FAST. It was really our last destination, huhu. We went to Gapyeong, getting near to Seoul. Bye, bye, Gangwon-do! I will visit you again next time! Our last destination is popular among tourists who visit South Korea, especially those K-Dramas' fans! It is always there in South Korea tour itinerary! Do you perhaps now about Garden of Morning Calm (아침고요수목원)? Yeah~ Park Bo Gum's best drama, Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' filming location!

source: Love in The Moonlight, KBS2
Official Website: http://morningcalm.co.kr/_ENG/html/main.php
Location: 432, Sumogwon-ro, Sang-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do
Entrance Fee: adult 9,500 won, teenager 7,000 won, child 6,000 won

It is not only that drama, but there are many others. These are some of them, might be not updated yet, since latest Yoo Seung Ho's drama, I'm Not a Robot is not included here, hehe.

We went there, as expected because it was Sunday, there were a lots of people, also it is Spring now, Spring means flowers! Even if cherry blossoms had gone, tulips, azaleas (my fave!) and many other flowers bloomed already! Making this place more and more beautiful and also, more crowded! But even if this place specialize in garden thing, you can always visit here everytime, not only in Spring! Even, Summer, Fall, Winter, it will offer you something special! So do not miss this place if you come here to South Korea!

Too bad it was raining that day, so we went around with this blue thing on us!

but I'm still smiling!

As time reached 6PM, we wrapped our trip that day! It was shorter than other two days, but the excitement was even bigger! Even if we are tired, we were really happy, cannot wait for upcoming trips! Me and my teammate, Afifa need to chase our bus to go back to Daejeon, so went back first before other, too bad we were not in the last group picture! Our first field trip was really awesome! It was really nice to visit places in South Korea that I have never visited before. I really hope my short stories will give you, whoever you are, who is reading this now, a reference of where to go if you visit South Korea someday!

Okay~ I will finish this so called blog post, I already miss this trip and I really want to meet all of my fellow 2018 WOWKOREA Supporter friends again, when will our next trip, manager-nim? :))

See you again! 2018 WOWKOREA Supporters!
Third day, our first field trip, kkkeeeuuuttt (finished)!
